Jam with the youngest and first Asian guitar-singer/songwriter duo who play country/pop/rock music, Krissy and Ericka, and the award-winning songwriter and acoustic balladeer, Nyoy Volante for Acoustic Sessions at The Activity Center on July 28, 8pm.
After the success of his debut album under MCA Music aptly titled, “In You,” the Philippines’ balladeer Nyoy Volante is once again set to take on OPM classics with his latest album “Tuloy Pa Rin,” a 12-track outing that includes VST & Co’s “Ipagpatawad Mo,” Dina Bonnevie’s “Bakit Ba Ganyan,” Dingdong Avanzado’s “Basta’t Kasama Kita,” Rico J. Puno and Elisa Chan’s “Magkasuyo Buong Gabi” and Lani Misalucha’s “Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin,” among others. Don’t miss the King of Acoustic Pop in Cebu as he will be in between concerts and the month-long classic 80s rock hits musica Rock of Ages where he is set to play the character Drew Boley.
Joining Nyoy onstage will be YouTube sensations’ Krissy and Ericka, sisters whose sophomore release entitled “Twelve: Fifty One” was an international hit not just online but offline. Catch them singing live to songs from their self-titled debut album such as “Up, Up, Down, Down” and “Don’t Say You Love Me”. Christened as the “M2M of the Philippines” because of their youthful and powerful voice, Krissy and Ericka Villongco will also be selling their cds and signing autographs after the show along with Nyoy Volante.
